All kinds of things are happening around you

Two streams of energy

Until you realize that you are the thing in the middle

What you have become

That process is what we call consciousness, or perhaps more accurately, creation

Nature explaining itself to itself, which feels almost religious

You interpret that as being created by G

But it is nature showing how everything has led to you, there in the middle

That is not the same thing

Yet it looks remarkably similar

At the beginning, you cannot know that you are the thing in the middle

Because you have to be assembled, step by step

From the very first fertilization

Through everything else that influences you along the way

You call that whole process G

But you can also follow that same process until you reach the other side

Er gebeuren allemaal dingen om je heen

Twee energiestromen

I like to pay my respects when I eat a dead animal. I like to pay respect to the animal and its parents, since they all helped feed me indirectly.

The problem with a lot of things we forgot to do is that we look for a reason to do them. Maybe paying respects to dead animals has no reason. Maybe there is no change in brain wave patterns. But that's not the point. Sometimes you do things even if they have no effect.

Sometimes we want to look for the reason, and the science, and everything else. We want to know everything before or after we decide to do something. You are missing the point. Especially when you do new things, there is no reason to do those things, because there are no reasons to do or not do those things, since they did not exist before.

All the good things, in that sense, don't need an explanation. Sometimes you just do them, and you worry about the reasons afterwards.
