Why Buddhism Is the Devil in Disguise
A lot of teachings within Buddhism say something along these lines:
“Every thought you have is not you. The thing that is thinking doesn’t exist.”
But the correct conclusion is:
“Every thought you have is a little part of you.”
All your thoughts are yours. If you stack them all up, they reflect who you are. Owning all your thoughts and all your feelings (good and bad) is the only strategy that works.
Trying to separate yourself from your thoughts is the equivalent of trying to amputate a part of your brain. You may not want them to be yours, but they are already in you.
So own them, one by one, until there is nothing left. Then you’ll understand.

Taking Care of Yourself Is Like Lighting Candles When You’re Home Alone
How to Learn to Love Yourself
I wanted to learn how to love myself. But I didn’t really know where to begin. For me, it felt too vague. Is it something you just say to yourself?
That’s why I came up with something. You need to see yourself and your body as something you must take good care of. Let’s take a leg as an example. How do we love our right leg?
Partly by running with it and keeping it healthy. But also by saying: this right leg is beautiful just as it is. You need both.
