Being an Emotional Guy

Back in the day, we used to get worked up about everything.

When somebody looked at you the wrong way on the street. When somebody did something strange in traffic.

When you were scared. Back then you weren’t just scared — you complained about it endlessly: how it felt and that you thought you were about to die.

Now, I see people doing breathing exercises when they are scared. Are you people joking? Anxious energy comes out — one of the strongest forces in nature. And what you do is try to push the water back into the can.

Doing breathing exercises when you are anxious is the equivalent of controlling your food intake when you feel bad, which we consider an eating disorder.

What to do when anxious
The first thing you have to understand is that the reason you are anxious is because it’s important to you. That’s normal. So try to feel as anxious as possible. Try to feel as bad as possible. When you have a panic attack, stop the bullshit and get worked up as much as you can. Try to feel more panic. This is the moment you will never fear a panic attack ever again. Make it worse.
