Creation works more like this:
Suppose I decide that I only want honest relationships with people. What I do is tell the truth to everyone. The result is that I repel some people and attract others who also want honest relationships. In that way, I have created a new world for myself. The other people no longer exist in this world.
The difficult part is that, at first, this brings painful processes. It’s as if you first have to prune, then plant seeds, but only much later reap the fruits.
You take a leap into the unknown: this is the only way for us as humans to move forward. But first you must go through a kind of hell. Because in the in-between period, you’ve lost everything. You don’t yet have new people, and you no longer speak to the old ones.
When you become familiar with all your thoughts, feelings, and places in your body, it is as if the inside of your body becomes visible. Or, in the words of Luke 17:21: “The kingdom of God is within you / in your midst.” It’s not necessarily about whether you are religious or not. But this verse illustrates the principle well. This principle is called consciousness.
