You don’t need a theory of everything. It’s healthier if everybody has their own individual opinion about this universe.
Looking for a theory of everything is like looking for one healthy diet for everybody: it doesn’t work like that. You can make generic laws, but you can’t find one specific answer.
Buddhists look down on the body by constantly trying to unidentify with it, which is the basis of building a very unhealthy relationship with something. It’s like saying, whenever something happens you don’t like, “It’s not me! This is not my thought.”
The weird thing about thoughts is that you can form a valid relationship with something and be completely right, yet still wrong.
If my relationship with food is solely based on “Am I getting fat or not?”, I am right, yet it’s still a bad idea. Every time you hit emotional pressure, you’ll find yourself using that relationship that is logically sound, but still a bad mechanism to use.
One-second test whether you are good with consciousness or not.
What is in better shape right now, your small intestine or your large intestine? How did they develop over the years?
I have this strange feeling that people cannot name the states of individual parts, meaning you have no clue what you are doing.
