Reality is not one thing. It’s multiple things, depending on who you are and how you look at it. It’s not that if we prove one side, you discard the other side. You can approach it completely based on belief, or completely based on science. One doesn’t exclude the other. There are way more views than that.

Lost in thought.

It is completely normal to find things exciting. You bought a house. You might be starting a new job. Maybe there are other things on the horizon. You are getting older.

That is how it is supposed to be. The fact that you find it exciting means that it has value to you. Pretending that you do not find it exciting is not true, and it is not honest with yourself. You find it exciting. It is scary too.

As long as the smart people get it

Consciousness means figuring out your body from the inside out.

The Bible is about consciousness. “Bitten by the snake” marks a specific moment in your growing up when you suddenly become aware of your own sexuality. I remember the exact moment.

“Adam’s apple” is a fantastic story about the thing in your throat, which is more visible in men than in women.

I mean, is this really this hard? Do you know how easy this is for some? You just read a few lines in a religious text, and you are like, “inside of the body.”

“And then there was light” is how your nervous system lights up, et cetera, et cetera, et cetera.

The sad part is that these stories are actually very smart and mark specific moments in history. But there is no such thing as an afterlife, an invisible man in the sky. Do you know why? Because the people who understand how consciousness works immediately start working together to check nature’s receipt: am I a product of my mum or dad, or is there an external factor playing a role? The latter is not acceptable. So you immediately start digging into your own DNA to see what you can find there.

In fact, the biggest impurity, and a real worry in nature, is whether it interferes with itself. If you only take the Big Bang and evolution as base theories to understand life, then nature actually interferes with itself because it would mean that we are all “brothers and sisters,” which, frankly, is disgusting. Luckily, there is a lot more to find.

Good luck with your journey.

Resisting your feelings too much.

Every Wednesday, a few hours before my kickboxing training, the tension in my body goes up, and I practically forget to do my normal tasks. Why? Because I am mentally preparing to fight.

It should be like that.

If I don’t have that feeling, it’s too unimportant to me. I need that tension.

This is why bodies and intuition work so well.

‘’

· Given: A bat and a ball cost $1.10 in total.

· Given: The bat costs $1.00 more than the ball.

· Question: How much does the ball cost?

‘’

Intuition works so well that $1 is the correct answer here, if you take all factors into account.

Because you also have to take into account that normally the answer here is:

‘’$1 bat + 10-cent ball = $1.10’’

If every time you read a sum like this and you have to calculate the whole thing without projecting the expected outcome, you would have to expend more energy. That’s a sign of distrust in a system.

Figuring out the answer is $1.05 means that you have overspent energy.

The feeling that you understand something is difficult to put into words.

It is a feeling. You already know that yourself.

When you try to explain it, you need words that sometimes fail to capture the feeling.

You see it, you feel it, your body comes together, and you know that you are right.
