If I found a theory of everything, would you want to know?
I found a mathematical formula that describes everything. I am one hundred percent right.
Would you want to know that formula?
It wouldn't make a difference. You would be a part of that formula anyway. You would still be able to enjoy a sunset or a good conversation.
My point is this: looking for a finite solution that exists forever is not the right approach. We've been doing that for ages—general relativity, quantum mechanics, a new small particle. It's all the same mistake on repeat.
What does it even mean, a theory of everything? A theory that describes everything forever? You don’t know how the world will look in the future. So why would you know the underlying mathematical laws of nature? If everything changes, those laws change too.
So, what to do?
A theory of everything is something big, compressed into a smaller formula.
Why not reverse it? Take something small and create a small, detailed formula. The latter is correct.
In the same analogy, you can’t compress something as big as a human body into a small diagnosis like autism (!!!).
